Remembrance Day (Jour du Souvenir)

 

In French this week, we learned a song related to Remembrance Day called "Enfant de Paix" (Child of Peace). Earlier in November we related our fall vocabulary to our appreciation for the land and sang the song "Les Enfants de la Terre" (Children of the Earth). Both of these songs can be found on this blog under "les ressources." Other recent songs from French class that have been posted to the blog include O Canada (en français), days of the week, months of the year and the weather. Practicing these songs at home is a great way to reinforce learning at school.
